Shadows & Reflections
(2008–present)

Shadows and Reflections is inspired by photographs of the New York Times Building on 8th Avenue in New York City. Many of the spatial ambiguities which which I have embraced in my compositions are already present in photographs of the interior lobby of the building through the combination of shadows and reflections. My large composition will be a triptych. I have combined the images in Photoshop, in studies for the full size painting.
