David L. Lawrence Convention Center

In November 2008 a permanent installation of my composition "Lawrence Convention Center" was installed in the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh. There are 6 repeated prints, 4 x 10 feet each, which run in a continuous band in the walkway between the Convention Center and the Westin hotel.

This image is based on photographs of the Convention Center which were taken in the spring of 2008. The photographs were combined in Photoshop. The result is a composition which captures the dramatic sense of movement and light which is experienced by visitors to the Convention Center.
