Inside Outside (2000–2003)

In the winter of 2000, when I was emptying my mothers apartment after she died, I discovered that there was a penthouse apartment in the building where I grew up. The apartment was open on all sides to the roof, and I photographed it from the inside looking out, from the outside looking in, I made studies on paper and canvas from the individual images, and combined them in Photoshop.
