Bright Moments
Portraits of the Street (2006–present)

Bright Moments is a series of images based on photographs of splashes of bright color which stand out against the monochromatic background of the city. I make paintings on linen or paper of individual photographs and then combine them in an extremely horizontal format. The viewer has to scan though the composition, in the same way a pedestrian does while walking down the street.
